Honda Canada Foundation

Honda Canada

The Honda Canada Foundation was created to lend a hand to registered non-profit charities that focus on their four pillars: Family, Engineering, Education, and the Environment.

Honda Canada Foundation’s One Honda. One Tree. tree planting campaign improves the health of forests and enhances the well-being of Canadians by planting a tree on behalf of Honda’s customers who purchase an ATV or lawn-care product during the campaign period.

Honda Canada Foundation

The Honda Canada Foundation has supported tree planting through its One Honda. One Tree. campaign since 2013. The Foundation plants one tree for every Honda lawn mower, tiller or trimmer purchased from authorized Canadian retailers between April 1st and July 31st each year.

With the help of our local planting partners, Forest Recovery Canada (FRC) identified sites of concern across Canada, and plants trees on Honda’s behalf to  increase connectivity between forested areas, sequester carbon, increase wildlife habitat, protect water sources and create recreational spaces.

In Surrey, BC, Honda and FRC partnered with the University of British Columbia to plant trees within the Malcolm Knapp Research Forest on the university’s campus. The Malcolm Knapp Research Forest is currently home to more than 100 active research projects related to forestry, biodiversity, wildlife and conservation; more than 150 different wildlife species inhabit the site.
